Deb Justus has been a rock in the Junior Billboard Association formally known as the ESOAA. She is affectionately known as “Queen Deb”. Her leadership in OOH is legendary.
We have all been thankful that Deb switched from inside sales to keeping billboard locations sold for Liberty Outdoor Advertising in Crystal Lake, IL. Her OOH career started in 1987 when Deb was recruited to work in the Liberty office.
Deb feels her greatest challenge was fighting with local ordinances that almost killed growth in her market. The other challenge was to work with her clients to downsize the amount of copy they wished to have on their Junior Posters.
What keeps Deb enthusiastic are the clients who let her know the success of their campaigns. Deb has enjoyed a waiting list for clients to be able to advertise on the Liberty Junior Posters.
Deb and her husband Gary have been married since 1980. They both had been very active in the OOH community until Deb retired.
