A helpful man.
1954-1994
Ross’s parents were Donald & Evelyn Hollister Bicknese. The family created and owned Bick Outdoor in Indiana. Ross was very involved and helpful to those starting their companies with his work in the ESOAA. https://www.juniorbillboard.org/
I remember Ross taking time to demonstrate how to construct a steel mono-pole Junior Poster unit from a pickup truck at one of the ESOAA conferences.
He later moved to Nashville, TN to start his own billboard company. Ross perished while installing a billboard when he came in contact with electrical lines while in a bucket truck.
Ross was a very well-liked and missed billboard operator.
