Norm Hilgeman is a great man who founded Summit City Outdoor in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He later changed the name to Signs Unlimited as he also created many electric bank and other types of signs. Norm worked hard with John Welch his friend in the business, fighting for billboard rights in Allen County. In particular, they were concerned the public protect the rights of Junior Poster size billboards.
Norman was an official of the Northeastern Sign Council of Indiana. Norm loved Outdoor Advertising and fought hard for ordinances that protect citizens' rights to get their message out.
John Welch asked his friend Norm to consider selling his company to Dan Walcott of Eagle Outdoor. Norm continued to be helpful after the sale with great advice and wisdom.
